Some semi precious gemstone beads are not minerals like Lapis Lazuli which is defined as a form of rock.

Pearl, Amber, Ammolite are organic materials that are used as semi precious gemstones. Amber is fossilized resin from tree sap, pearls are produced by oysters and Ammolite are the fossilized remain of extinct marine cephalopod mollusk that lived inside coil shaped shells.

These semi precious gemstone beads are set in different metal settings like Platinum, Gold and Sterling Silver to make exquisite jewellery accessories like Rings, earrings, bracelets, pendants and necklaces.
