TJC Gift vouchers
  
1. Introduction - what are gift vouchers?
TJC Gift vouchers are Face value vouchers with a cash value stated on them. They must be supplied for a consideration and carry a right to receive goods or services without the necessity for further payment, although further payment may be made.
On the face of the voucher will be a series of numbers, including a three digit security identification number for customer protection that the recipient will need to provide TJC when redeeming the card.
2. VAT rules
The consideration for the issue of a gift voucher is disregarded except to the extent that it exceeds the face value of the voucher. VAT is accounted for at the time the voucher is redeemed for goods or services on the value for which the voucher was initially sold.
3. How to purchase this card – Customer can order a Gift voucher of desired denomination over the phone at TJC Call Center or Customer Care.
4. How to use this card – Gift voucher recipient can use it to place an order over the phone at TJC Call Center or Customer Care. TJC Gift Vouchers cannot currently be spent online.
5. Terms and Conditions
- Gift Vouchers cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
- TJC Gift Vouchers expires 12 months from issue date.
- Gift Vouchers ordered will be sent to the delivery address stated on each individual order.
- Deliveries will be made using Secure Mail services.
- Gift vouchers will normally be despatched within four working days unless a specified later delivery date is requested. Where possible we will try to meet all delivery requirements but The Jewellery Channel shall not be liable for any loss incurred either directly or indirectly by failure to meet the delivery date and time indicated at the time of order being placed. ‘Loss’ in this instance includes loss of profit, costs, damages, charges or other expenses.
- Risk will pass to the customer upon delivery and title will pass upon receipt of payments in full. The Jewellery Channel has no liability for lost, stolen or damaged vouchers once responsibility of ownership has passed to the customer at time of delivery.
- Gift Voucher(s) should be checked immediately upon receipt. Any discrepancies must be notified immediately. The Jewellery Channel cannot be held responsible for shortage or loss of any vouchers not notified to us within three days of delivery.
- Cleared payment is required prior to the despatch of orders. Payment is taken automatically at the time of purchase. Your credit/debit card statement will read "The Jewellery Channel". We reserve the right to decline any order without providing explanation.
- TJC Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Force Majeure ; The Jewellery Channel cannot be held responsible for failure to meet its service obligations when any failure is brought about due to some cause totally beyond its reasonable control. Examples of this might include: acts of God, trade disputes; governmental intervention, fire, flood, and disruption to computer and IT infrastructure.
Breach of these conditions will entitle The Jewellery Channel to seek the appropriate legal remedy available for injunction, damages or otherwise. |
