What did you do before joining TJC?
Before becoming a TV Presenter I worked in a motorbike shop, I was a horse-riding instructor, I worked in the charity sector for many years...and I trained as an actress.
What makes you enjoy working at TJC?
Well clearly apart from the jewellery and getting to handle some truly wonderful gems, I have to say that the crew make coming to work an absolute pleasure.
What is your favourite gemstone and why?
I never have just one favourite of anything!
Russian Diopside. Natural, amazing colour, great history and the best things do come in small packages! I also love Seraphinite as it looks like feathers and is very unique.
Describe your personal style?
I love fashion but i'm more high street than haute couture. Day to day i'm usually in jeans but I love finding quirky little dresses from designers like Yumi and I adore All Saints.
What is your favourite colour and why?
Black- goes with everything, green- looks good with my hair and skin colour.
Name your favourite restaurant and why?
There's a lovely place called Fredericks in Angel and for cheap and cheerful I love Wagamamas!
If you were to travel around the world in 80 Days, which city will you begin from and why?
Edinburgh as it's my home city, truly beautiful and I adore it...would also get a home cooked meal before and after my tiresome travels.
What is your worst ever fashion malfunction?
There are so many...the purple shell-suit, the lime green Kickers, the all in one towelling jumpsuit....should I go on???
Who is your favourite celebrity and why?
I love Cheryl Cole- cute, down to earth and genuinely lovely. Phillip Schofield- dashing and funny- actually thought I was going to marry him.
What is your best TV show and why?
CSI (major addiction), Desperate Housewives, Dexter, Take Me Out and Harry Hill! Why?? I just love them!
In exactly two words how would your best friend describe you?
Quirky and cheeky.
If you were to be the Prime Minister for Three (3) Hours, what would you do and why?
Sack every MP and start again.
Can you reveal a secret about a fellow TJC presenter?
I never reveal secrets.
